Acrylic pour painting, a mesmerizing form of abstract art, involves mixing acrylic paints with pouring mediums to achieve a fluid consistency. I then then pour these mixtures onto a canvas, often employing various techniques such as the "flip cup" or "dirty pour," where colors are layered in a cup before being poured onto the canvas. The canvas is then tilted, allowing the paint to flow and blend organically, creating captivating patterns and swirls. Sometimes I use additional methods like "swiping" with a tool or using a torch to manipulate the paint further. As the painting dries, the colors settle into unique formations, resulting in vibrant, multidimensional works of art.
